WGBC publishes findings of its inaugural global anonymous survey
People from 15 countries completed an anonymous survey conducted by Cultural Infusion to better understand the perspectives and experiences of LGBTQIA+ people and allies involved in boxing. The key findings of the survey are:

Joshua Quartey LGBTQIA+ Ally, WGBC African Ambassador and "Champion of Equality"
Abubakari Quartey, publicly known as Joshua Quartey, is leading change removing barriers and discrimination for the LGBTQIA+ community in boxing, sport, and society. Joshua calls himself the "Champion of Equality" and recently took up the voluntary role of the World Gay Boxing Championships' (WGBC) African Ambassador.

Martin Stark feels at ease in the boxing ring. After living through two induced comas and multiple major surgeries, the thought of dodging right hooks doesn’t seem all that distressing.
